Gánt Bauxit Mine, Hungary
DescriptionThe table was constructed from recycled printing materials, reflecting a commitment to sustainability. Its structure consists of 146 paper rolls fixed together, topped with a 6-meter-long raw MDF tabletop. Initially designed as a supporting object for exhibitions, it gained a new layer of meaning through the photography of Matti Varga. As part of a collaboration, the installation was presented in the Gánt Bauxite Mine—an environment vastly different from its original context. Despite being a foreign object, the table did not feel out of place. Instead, it seamlessly blended into the surroundings, becoming an organic part of the landscape. Creative freedom, and cultural experimentation.
