Radiance

Radiance is inspired by the once-operating cooling towers of Inota. The installation highlights key elements of the cooling process while offering insight into a system where human presence was not allowed. Through the interplay of light, the work manipulates our perception of heat and symbolizes the journey of water used in the power plant's operation. The two arcs represent the cooling tower's top opening and water basin, while the translucent membrane contrasts with the concrete structure. In addition to visual elements, the cooling process is also represented through sound effects. The repetitive interplay of sound and light symbolizes the cyclical nature of the process.
